I wasn't that into it, but I did taste the Citra no question.

not sure if you mean the last single version or the double they released a few weeks ago with the citra. I didn't have the single, but that double citra one I thought was fantastic.

Appreciated the help I received earlier in the May thread. Heading to NYC this Wednesday. Most likely day I’ll be able to get to OH is Friday afternoon. Any chance cans will be available? Looking to take home 2-3 four packs.
Thinking an Uber be from the 9/11 Museum to OH. Expensive?
Also, any bars around Midtown (Kimpton Muse) that might have OH and/or Hill Farmstead on tap? Hoping to find some good taps after the Broadway shows Wednesday and Thursday night.
    Thanks!

Current cans? Ehhh, I'm not sure they'll last though the Mmm... Fruit might. If (more likely when) they drop a weekday can this week you'll be more than good.

It depends on the time. During rush hour you might be less annoyed if you just take trains. It's a really easy 2 train trip and isn't that the NYC experience!?

Nearby midtown options for HF and such might be As Is, Beer Culture, and (earlier in the day) Whole Foods Bryant Park.

PS: Quick informal poll for an out of towner. Had this thread title only said "Other Half June" and been the only not locked Other Half thread, would you have known it was the most recent June or would you have been confused about it's yearlessness? I'm asking for a friend.

Thanks for the help! Might try to switch and go on Saturday if I can convince my other half. But we will be in Westchester by then. Probably best to call on Friday to see what they have left. Though if I only go and drink some drafts, not the end of the world.
Definitely will map out those bars and keep them on my radar
As for the poll, if it said “Other Half June”, I would have figured that meant June 2018.

Keep your eyes on instagram, it seems likely we'll get a can during the week!

Edit: Ty for the poll response! 100% of responses are in line with what I figured!

I think we should include the year in each new thread for posterity's sake, so that our children, and our children's children may know what their fathers thought about beer, before the multinational lactose overlords took over craft, and everyone is drinking either a Miller Haze Life or a Bud Light Haze-A-Rita.

If you go onto Uber right now you can enter the start and end locations and it will tell you how much.

Like others have mentioned, OH is working towards constantly having at least 1 or more can options in the taproom at all times. I’d say there will likely be a midweek release sometime this week which means you’ll be able to scoop something up during your visit on Friday.

wow. it's just a well-oiled machine now... this is miles beyond the days of one release every two weeks that would sell out in a little over an hr. kudos, OH.

Saw what looked to be a pallet of Cream Get the Honey when I picked up today, I figure that will be another midweek release.

From what I heard, Other Half now has nine full time head brewers and they are brewing 24/7. More like a well oiled money machine now :money_mouth:

That's interesting if true, as I had commented recently to a friend and fellow enthusiast how striking it was that there weren't an abundance of OH sibling breweries started by former employees. I think it would be awesome if they began to function like an academy that develops brewing talent.

I thought that was tongue in cheek. Isn’t a brewery having nine head brewers like having nine CEOs?

Jesse Ferguson at Interboro worked at Other Half for a stint before he started with his own thing, I think that may be the only example?

I believe one of the guys that worked at Other Half in the early days opened Outer Range in Colorado.
