Citra + Ekuanot is tasting great, would love to see OH do a dual hop with just southern hemisphere hops.

 

They have, DDH Motueka + Galaxy was good stuff. I’m hoping that this African Queen + Mosaic means Other Southern in cans sometime, one of my favorite OH beers.

 

I second that. Other Southern rules.

 

Any favorites today? Perpetually Green is the early standout to me but I didn't really love any of them as much as some other recent releases.

I was disappointed with Always and Forever. Almost no carbonation in my first can.

 

Triple Citra Daydream is so ridiculously delicious that it's stupid.

 

I had Always & Forever in draft, carb was normal and was a reminder of how nice a more traditional IPA bitterness can be amid all the haze. Also had a can of DMDD, and tastes incredible straight out the gate.

What are easily thoughts on Citra/Eukenot?

 

Do any of ya'll have problems with the chip readers at OH? I got a new CC recently that does 4% cash back at bars restaurants (haven't confirmed I get 4% at OH), but it doesn't work in their chip readers. It works everywhere else and it's annoying that they try it 3 times before using the swipe reader even though I tell them the chip doesn't work.

 

Citra/Euk is much smoother and juicier than I expected. I thought I’d be getting a more traditional IPA bitterness that you speak of like some of the other dual hops but I really don’t know what euk brings to the table I suppose.

 

Anyone know the can sitch for today? Thanks....

 

Perpetually Green is a keeper, comes really close to the OG Green Power melon flavor but a little bit lighter. Very nice beer. Do we think we'll see these recent "green" Vermont Yeast beers in steady rotation?

 

Please let next weekends can sit around like this weekends haha. Will be making the journey but probably not till Sat afternoon.

 

I think Citra+Ekuenot is my favorite OH IPA so far this year. Also, just found out (I think?) that this is the same as Citra+Equinox; I always assumed hop names were botanical/scientific but apparently they're branded like Kleenex?

 

Also a fan. My question is, is it an imperial / double IPA or a single? ABV is 7.5% which is right in the middle (7 would be a single, 8 would be an imperial/double). Instagram release post said imperial. Cans only say IPA
