    Yeah, my guess would be 10-20 at opening Saturday if beer lasts, which seems likely. I can't imagine this release will compare to the Wednesday before thanksgiving. The entire city is always a madhouse over Thanksgiving. It shouldn't be a surprise that NYC's PREMIER BEER DESTINATION was mobbed. Also only 2 cans that day rather than 4.

    No, and why would they when they can sell a 12oz pour for $8 in the taproom.

    Assuming they are normal sized batches, I doubt anything but Citra Azacca lasts until Saturday. I think if beer lasts the initial release, enough people will roll through in the evening and grab some.

    (shitpost warning) Can anybody give me any info on what the mobile releases have looked like? I am assuming it will be mobbed, but I am wondering how early I should really be getting there. I plan on being in Albany for this one but haven't attended a mobile release yet. Apologies in advance if this has been asked, I searched the past 5 pages with no luck so figured I would ask. Thanks in advance guys.

    PSA to any/all fans of DDH All Citra... Go pick up a 4-pack of KCBC's This Is Your Brain On Hops Citra/Waimea. Cans should still be available at the brewery (it was released this Wednesday). I haven't been the biggest fan of KCBC's hoppy offerings in the past, but they really nailed it (i.e., DDH ACE clone) with this one.

    I've been looking to grab this one but I definitely will now! It looks like it is in shops across the city now as well, getting to kcbc can be a pain.

    Wish I had gotten more Florets, I think its OH's best single IPA in a while. I hope they do it again in the Spring/Summer cause its definitely the type of beer I'd reach for in warm weather.

    idk if you've had it, but I found KCBC's "once around the sun" on the shelf and probably one of the best "shelf IPAs" i have come across, next to Wrench.

    Other Half needs to get their shit together. Figured showing up an hour after release the line would be pretty much gone...but of course they are only running with 2 POS units. Line still around garnet and moving at a snails pace. I'm bailing on this.

    Not sure what’s going on today but the line is moving insanely slow. Took 30 minutes for me to go from halfway down Garnet to the corner of Garnet and Smith. I’m guessing I won’t get to the front of the line until a little after 2.

    It might clear up later, but if you were planning on getting here in the next 30 minutes or so I would expect to wait in line. Line still wraps around onto Garnet, I am about halfway down Smith now and I got here at 12:45.
