    Yeah given that allegedly the ownership is just “the guys” and that there’s no outside equity, it’s a) impressive and b) shows just how much $$ they have rolling in.

    Obviously as a selfish “local”, the idea that all these new locations could compromise overall quality (and cachet if I was a trader, which I’m not) is a minor concern. But hopefully they keep things super tight. To the Stone point, it’s not like we’re going to see 24 packs of 12oz bottles (shudder) of Hop Showers being distributed to the plebs so I don’t think we need to be too concerned.

    Agreed not super clear - I took it to mean that they don’t have outside equity ownership. I’m sure there’s debt involved though (pretty sure they were specifically quoted talking about a loan in one of the Rochester articles)

    I'm sure you had access to much accurate information while you were working there, and admittedly I could have been lied to, but I was told a few months back that they've been able to reacquire some lost ownership and now own 80%. There is debt but that's different.

    I know Rob. I'm just playing around and wasn't trying to make a serious point. My job is investing in debt.

    Simplistic, yes. Completely different than equity, yes.
