Galaxy+Vic Secret and the Daydream Layers sound promising, but everything else is an easy pass for me.

 

Is there a collab stout that is due out?

people in the FB groups seem to think that a macadamia nut imperial stout collab with captain lawrence is on deck

 

2-row, wheat, 2-types of oats

 

Maybe it’s just me but I would like to see more nut-free stouts. Or is that cutting edge pastry? I’m pretty out of touch

They really need to work on their naming and descriptions.

So the second bottle says Bourbon Barrel Aged in the name but says Cognac Barrell aged in the description?

Anywho, will probably only go for the bourbon one

 

hmmm, this was brewed a year and a half ago... I wouldn't say Other Half was doing stouts all that well during that period

Same malty thing going on with this batch. Not sure what happened to this beer but it’s definitely not the same. Stopped in to pick up some cans, but after having a draft pour decided to pass. The Idaho 7 / Galaxy is tasting great though
