I don’t know why but it still annoys me that Mylar Bags is 8.8% but the label says 8.5%

I thought it looked like something you would find in Homegoods. My mom had fruit decorations that she hung around the kitchen in the house where I grew up. First thing I thought of.

Weird, I thought the last batch was off (boozy and muted.) Here's to hoping this batch has the normal juicy dankness. One of my favorite OH beers.

I'm getting married in 2 weeks and debating when the optimal week is to pick up couple cases of something is. Is the general consensus still that cans need a week or 2? Real tempted to grab a case of Mylar if this batch is nice.

interesting.. the only thing i thought was missing from the last batch (mid-august, right?) was that strangely enjoyable onion smell/taste at first sip. I do remember last year a batch that was way off that a lot of people lamented.

I remember a batch that was off in late September / early October (overspun?). Mylar is typically a winner though.

1-2 weeks on the cans seems to be the sweet spot
I grabbed a few mixed cases a week before my wedding in February, and everything was drinking great!

I still remember the first time I had Mylar, maybe I was still new to OH, but, it stood out with HUGE lime zest and then dankness. I'm pretty sure this was when they had it on tap first, and then they finally canned it. I haven't had that same impact of LIme zest and citrus and dank yet. Plenty of mylar has been amazing, but, it hasn't met that first batch, first sip expectations yet. Though, I think that is the case for almost any beer ever.

I dont get access to OH often, but the cans of DDH Cheddar I had tasted way better at 4-6 weeks out than when super fresh.

    Am I crazy?
