Yeah mate these days there's so much happening on the beer front in NYC - it's hard to go wrong! I always list these places on Brooklyn recco threads, but Bar Great Harry, Mission Dolores and Owl Farm are three bars in the general vicinity of OH / Threes that are also worth checking out if you have time - I always take friends visiting from Scotland to them and they're always a hit. Covenhoven, Gold Star and Double Windsor are other places I really like that will take a little more effort to get to from that area, but also really worth it if you have time

This is immensely helpful, so thank you. I've got Double Windsor and Covenhoven on the list, but none of the others you mentioned. And yeah, so much to fucking drink in New York. You locals must be exhausted...

In that case if you're going to Covenhoven then I'd definitely recommend gold star too. Really chill place that always has a very well curated draft list.

I'll be the guy with a steady stream of saliva dribbling down his chin.

Threes Brewery for most of Saturday was already our plan, but I had no idea about these saison shenanigans, so thanks for somehow making me even more excited than I was.

Thanks! Looks like we're going to try and do both of these places (and a few others) on the Sunday!

Glad to help..it should be an excellent event. I'll be the young(ish) looking Arab dude glued to his phone because I likely won't be able to convince any of my buddies to come along with me lol

Just an fyi about Threes, they get packed super fast and will remain so for most of the day. Get there early for a table otherwise it'll be the standing game for you.

@ImperialStoat how's your trip going? Sounds like OH was pretty mobbed today. You able to get there and get a couple of pours?

I didn't go myself (after seeing how things looked on the thread), but I did drop by both Gold Star and Covenhoven. You make it to either of those places? Gold Star has a couple of Equilibrium beers on tap. Great new NY brewery.

I assume a Friday at 5pm the place would be crazy busy?
