Other Regional Forums?

I understand that there are more important things that probably need to get worked on, but it would be nice to have a SoCal regional forum, or at least a Cali one. Pacific is just such a large area to cover in one region.

 

I doubt this will ever happen, since no other state is broken up like that to my knowledge, but I do see why it might be helpful. California has pretty close to 350 breweries alone, & that number continues to grow, and being in Socal myself, I tend to focus on the threads regarding breweries in the central coast, Ventura Country, LA, OC & San Diego, ( as well as the bars, festivals & events in those counties & don't tend to read too many threads about places north of say Santa Cruz very often, as I'm sure may Norcal BA's tend to focus on the Bay Area, Mendocino, Humbolt, Sonoma, Sierra, Napa, etc. since those are the ones in a few hours drive, as opposed to 6+ hours by car.

I mean the distance from this places on the east coast by comparison would take you through 4-5+ states. I'm just glad U.S. Pacific is just Hawaii & California, & not the whole west coast.

 

I'd like to see Asia come back. Japan has a burgeoning craft scene and people used to post there pretty regularly.
