Otter Creek Double Dose in Boston?

Comes out this month. Its such a big deal the news did a piece on it up there!! HAHA!

They replied to a facebook message at some point saying late September. That news story says it debuts at OC Oktoberfest on the 20th

Also it seems like there was a batch brewed in Warren as well....

 

It was released last year as well. It was pretty damn good, I'd buy it when you see it.

 

DD, Double Dose, is DD, damn delicious.

 

Love them double d's. Yes, I do.

 

Can't wait to see pricing this year.

Went down to the party last year... was 1 of about 12 people there. Left after a couple of hours... it was sorta awkward..

 

In the video on their FB page BM Mike says different hops this year. Also he said releases at brewery on 9/20. But could show up sooner. I would imagine he meant in stores. But he made no reference to VT or other NewEngland states.

 

Hope to comes to WMass this year. We have been getting all of the other BM Mike releases but for some reason it skipped us last year. Went to CT and NY and Eastern Mass. Keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Not sure why they're using different hops this year. I just hope they don't mess it up....It was one of my favorite releases last year.

 

I spoke with Brewmaster Mike at the recent VPT (VPBS) event and they are possibly doing another (yet unannounced) collab with one VT brewer and two other east coast brewers (3 diff collabs). The collab with the VT brewer will be an even bigger whalez than Double Dose IPA, so keep an eye out for more OCB collab announcements later this year. The planned VT brewer collab is an Imperial Stout ~10-12%, so it'll probably be closer to Winter release.

 

Any intel on whether or not they're doing their maple ba ris? Mmmmm

 

I didn't ask him about that, so not really sure if that was a one time thing or something that they'll repeat again this year.

 

I would not OCB but related due to Lawson's collabs. I wonder if Sip of Sunshine will distro to other New England states?
