Hello Mid-Atlanticers - I'm sure the answer to this question has been posted, but I cannot find it: Does OTWOA get any distribution in DC or is it brewery-only? If there is distribution, any particular store with reliable stock? I'm hoping to send my little brother on a goandpitckitupformebro, but would like waste as little of his time as possible. Thanks
the bombers I had last fall were brewery only while we got some (very few) cans distributed here in RVA a few months ago.
As far as I know, Wings has never been distributed anywhere (brewery only). The good news is that despite their "Saturday-only" hours, they'll gladly sell you some beer during the week if you call ahead and arrange to stop by.
I believe we got the cans of Wings since it was the DC Brau launch for RVA. we only got a very, very few.
Original bombers did make it sparsely at the time to some retailers in DC. Distributors seemed to have promised the cans to some places, but to no final avail that I'm aware of. So brewery only when available.
In other news, they seem to be making it more regularly these days too and it's not selling out as fast as it once was. The most recent batch has been available at the brewery for the last 3 weeks, and there was a batch right before that available for 2-3 weeks as well.
And Virginia. I believe H&W Virginia got 12 cases or something insane like that. Head to the brewery, and drown yourself in wingzzzzzz
