Shared a bottle there and honestly not sure what I think of it. All the Avery sours seem to me to be the same base beer, the aging makes em different. It has a lot going on and you can taste the different barrels. I think 2-3 months may actually help it but definetly worth drinking one now. I have 3 more bottles and will probably drink one every 2 months to see if the flavors come together. Wish I had gotten 6, I am a sucker for rum barrel aging

That was a hell of a time yesterday. Nice to meet a couple of you guys. Really enjoyed the sours available while waiting.

I cracked a bottle when I got home to Parker. Quite tart, I really enjoyed it. Yeah, you can easily taste the complexity from each of the barrels.

I would have to say it's going to but be pretty limited. Certainly didn't sell out 250 cases at the brewery. They did increase the allotment from 6 to 12 and I did see several people get back in line.

It was freakin hot yesterday! I had a good time meeting some new BA's and hanging out with friends. All the stuff on tap was pretty good. My favorite was Ross's Mom. Got to meet Floris...didn't realize he was the guy who worked at Dogfish Head. Good day.

It was hot! The barrel room was much cooler than outside though with all the people it still was a bit warm. I really enjoyed the Whiskey Sour Reverand, Eremita III, Ross's Mom, and Bad Apple (which was so easy to put down in that heat). I wasn't a big fan of the Grapes of Wrath as I found it to be a bit heavy on the cab character for my preference. Others loved it though so to each their own

I loved Bad Apple and Tweak. Certainly wouldn't turn down the chance to buy the other beers if they were offered but Bad Apple and tweak were my favorites.

Enjoyed everything I tasted while waiting, had Eremita III, Ross's Mom, Grapes of Wrath and Bad Apple. I agree with hopfacebrew that Bad Apple went down the easiest and Grapes of Wrath was probably the one I liked the most. Worth the trip down.

Popped one last night, tart and complex. Interesting to see where this will go from here.
