A couple years ago a friend of a friend from Belgium shared an Oude Gueuze from Belgium that was fantastic. I can't remember the name of it, but the bottle was flat sided (maybe a dodecagon). Any ideas as to the beer?
That bottle shape rings a bell. I remember looking at it intently. I can almost feel it under my fingers. Green glass, yes? Corked & caged. Unfortunately I cannot recall the label or name. I would have sampled this in like 1990.
