I was told the oak barrel aged weisse is sold out. I am planning on going there in a couple hours to hang out and was really looking forward to trying this brew and taking some home for friends. If anyone local has a bottle or two to spare and would be willing to meet me today it would be greatly appreciated. Since im on vacation I dont have a wide array of beers to offer you in person but if you can hook me up, ill send you a thank you box upon my return home.

Edit: its not the old stock or sour ale im looking for since they still have these available. Its the barrel aged weisse im looking for.

    Cheers!

Unfortunately I can't help you with the weisee. But, the oak barrel aged sour ale was really tasty. Have you tried it yet?

No but I plan to be drinking one within an hour or 2 as well as the old stock.

I'm jealous of you for two reasons: 1. You are in the OBX and I am not & 2. I would like to drink that beer again.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the price (I think we paid $8 for 11.2 oz / Batch 01).

Trio had a ton of bottles left in their store when I was down for the fourth - $8.99 a bottle.

I appreciate the heads up. I saw Trio on my way and considered stopping, now ill have to on the way back. I stopped at Chips and they had a shelf spot for it in the fridge at 8.99 but was all gone. I just asked the bartender at the brewing station if it was sent out to many places and he said it was on-site only sales. Hmm

Did they have it at Trio? We are going down to OBX in a week and also wanted to get a bottle.

No, they didnt. They did have 2 bottles of the "stock" ale though which i passed on because i already snagged a bottle at the brewery.

The old stock is easily the most unique beer I've had in a long time. Not good or bad, just totally different.

The oak aged wiesse is phenomenal.

Saw online they have a Gottlandsdrikka on tap, heading down Thursday. Anyone try this one out? Looking forward to the Stock and Sour if they still have it this upcoming weekend.
