Best places to shop for beer on the mainland or on the Outer Banks.
    And
Great places to eat with good beer

Trio is a one of the better bottle shops in the OBX...wicked weed, almanac, Westbrook. They also have like ten or so taps.

I've heard Chips is good as well, 2 locations.

As far as restaurants, kind of depends on where you are staying but lots of good food.

    Thanks for the reply i_run_far!
If I can find those 3, it'll be a good vacation with the in-laws.
    Cheers

I second Trio. Focus on NC beers, watch the dates on anything else.

This gets asked frequently in the summer, a search will get you plenty of detailed info/opinions.
But agree with above, just go to Trio, not much at Chips that trio won't have. Also be sure to really check around when you are there, last time I saw some Grimm just sitting on the floor stacked up, it didn't move days later either.
Hit up the brewing station on mp 8.5 as well, the food is pretty solid & you can get a few fresh beers.

What's the growler law in NC? Should I throw one of my CT/MA ones into the car when packing in a couple months?
