I'm also gonna agree about English beers. But there are plenty of domestic breweries too:

    Odell
    Duck Rabbit
    Two Bros
    Ramstein
    Stoudt's, Troegs, Victory

    Oh and lagers in general.

I think the problem is the high prices and relatively lower abv. And when the abv is high, the prices are even higher. I think it has something to do with the taxes over there.

I get Smuttynose distro to my area, but I've never seen the Baltic Porter. If I do, I'll have to give it a try!

    Anything subtle.

Really though, the only beers that get much attention either have Imperial, Barrel, Wild, or Double in their style.

My theory is that when people first discover the world of craft beer, they begin to explore the boundaries of taste and style, and revel in the extremes. Then, eventually, they start to explore back towards the center, and rediscover the subtler lagers, kolsch, milds, etc. But it's the newly passionate crowd that fuels this website, which is why there are a half dozen "Parabola in _____" threads, but no "Summer Love in ______" threads.

(At least, that's been my path through beerdom. And I've really been digging Summer Love lately, so I figured I'd give it a bump here.)

Just hady first Dales Pale Ale last night. Not sure how under appreciated it is, but I thought it was an extremely solid beer that I don't see named as much as some of the others

Sweetwater IPA. Once it gets hot out it's perpetually stocked in my fridge.

Final Absolution is very good. I don't know what kind of distribution it has. I lived in northern Ohio for a while and I had never heard of Dragonmead, but for people outside of Michigan, if you like Tripels, you'll like Final Absolution. I want to try their IPA, but I just haven't gotten around to it. I also agree with with some of your other choices. Some I haven't tried so I don't have much of a comment for them.

I just tried this for the first time over the weekend and it was amazing. I wasn't surprised by the fact that I loved it - I love everything I've had from Lagunitas (Hairy Eyeball might just fall short of that actually). But New Dogtown was something of a revelation.

Pretty much the entire Great Lakes lineup right now.

    Burning River
    Dortmunder Gold
    Nosferatu
    Blackout Stout
    Wright Pils
    LEM

All fantastic beers that don't get enough run.

Not to be the typical DFH hater, but I overlook this now since it went to four packs, bought it frequently in sixers but to me its not worthy of a 4 pack purchase.

I can't argue with that logic. Its a sound reason to dislike it/DFH. I still enjoy it enough to buy $10 4 packs but i think i am one of few who are in that category...

I'd have to say Rare. Everytime I see it on the shelves I think I should pick up a few just in case it becomes a whale.

We have a rather extensive bottle selection at the bar I work at, but I sell so much Alaskan Amber and White that I've almost lost all interest in those two. However Alaskan Barleywine and Smoked Porter, those are two of my favorites.
