Dude, that is killer news! Just IPA to start with, yeah? Just sayin', I wouldn't cry if some of those seasonals made it into cans eventually too -- the thought of some Saison Blue or Ojo Blanco on a warm evening is a pleasant one indeed.

Thanks! Yeah, it'll just be IPA for a bit and then Stronghold Session, then hopefully some seasonals and maybe some barrel aged stuff one day down the road. I'll be honest, I have no idea what the distribution or output will be like to start with. Most likely just at the taproom and then a few places around Tucson, then we'll see how it goes. We're pretty excited though, and are hoping to grow the canning line soon if all goes well.

Damn, I miss Tucson visits and going to Dragoon was a big part of that. Gotta figure out a way to get down there again.

Awesome stuff, man. Definitely understand it'll likely be a slow, incremental sort of process. You can sure as heck count me in as one of the folks (and I can guarantee there'll be many) making the drive from PHX to pick up cans of IPA if they're brewery-only at first. Regardless, hoping for tons of success for you guys in the future, cans and otherwise. Cheers!

Just saw the 4-pack packaging on Facebook. Very nice. I'll have to track some down ASAP.

Still waiting on the actual cans but we're hoping they're coming in the next two weeks. Once they get here, we'll do a test run and then it's time! We'll announce the launch party on Facebook, I'll keep you guys updated here too.

Yep, big update! We did our first canning run last week and will be doing another this week (and most likely next week) leading up to the taproom release. It'll be at the end of this month, but the exact date hasn't been announced yet. The dissolved oxygen numbers were our main concern for canning quality, and they came out pretty good overall for a manual canning line. We're gonna continue testing the cans for DO and other QC issues up until the release, we really wanna do this the right way! The cans will make their way out into retail slowly - the first place will be Tap & Bottle early next month with a launch event, then a few more select places around town. No word on when they'll be in PHX yet, we're pretty new to the distribution game and there's plenty of logistics to figure out. I'll try to post some pics later tonight or tomorrow. Cheers!

We're especially happy that the cans/boxes will have dates that are easy to read!
