I discovered this gem on a road trip/brewery tasting of Northern California. This brewery has all of their ducks in a row, the flavors are there on all of there beers, it's got a nice friendly atmosphere, and they have a kitchen if you need a bite. I tried the India Peach Ale and D D's Drinkin' Beer, along with a taster of Nye Ranch Cucumber Ale. Let's start with the India Peach Ale, this brew is phenomenal on the first taste I knew I had found a gem. The flavors of the peach and the hops meld perfectly together giving you exactly what you want, and wanting more. Letting it warm up and open to develop a pinnacle of flavors blossomed into one of the best beers I've had. Now to D D's Drinkin' Beer this is a great pilsner that has a ton of flavor, but has the depth of a lager. This is easily drinkable, and a great beer for those who don't drink that much craft beer. I am reflecting my own opinions, this has not been paid for, and I do not work in the industry. Hopefully you have the pleasure of visiting this brewery and spreading their love of beer to you.
I stopped in fort Bragg for an overnight stay during a summer vacation along the coast this year. I looked at overtime and the beers didn’t really sound that good to me. Peach IPA isn’t really my thing, so ended up going to North Coast for some barrel aged Old Rasputin and a really tasty fruited Berliner. Let me just emphasis that a peach ipa doesn’t sound good but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. It’s just my first reaction. After hearing your speak so highly of the place I wish I stopped by for a few beers. Next Nor Cal trip i’ll Have to make sure I stop by. I love when I find a gem. A place that you didn’t expect much and it’s awesome. Love it. On a side note D & D is classified as a session ipa? Cheers, and welcome to BA.
I hope the OP got the name wrong and it has a "&" because at first I thought they had a beer called "designated driver's drinkin' beer."
