The overuse/misuse of "sessionable" bothers me way more than "session" despite the fact that there's more latitude with it.

If I bought it then it's my bottle, by definition… I'll share it with anyone that asks, and a few that don't, but beer isn't some human right that makes the bottle I purchased everyone's bottle. I kinda get what you're saying but I think you're arguing semantics to prove the theory that many in the craft beer community are assholes. Trust me, the assholes don't need help being spotted! :-)

Overused terms? Here are a few:
    • ISO
    • FT
    • Brewery only
    • Bottle count

Session-- unless you're actually in a rural pub in East Sussex and the landlord bellows "Toime, gentlemen."

Before I started reviewing beers, I never could have imagined saying that word with a straight face. :stuck_out_tongue:
I prefer the terms "body" or "texture".

I'll throw one out there that I see a lot of and can't and couldn't ever be overused:
    "thanks" or "thankful"

Perhaps because the term doesn't actually tell us the perceived bitterness of the beer.

Meaningless but used all the time. Why ask "What craft beer do you take on fishing expeditions?"
It's like the moronic introduction of "So" such as "So I went to the pub" when the writer means "I went to the pub"
How do you know if a beer is "world class" without trying them all ?
I'm reminded of billboards along a road reading "Best prices in the state" "Best prices in the universe" and then "Best prices on this street"
The only thing that matters is how you see a beer.My favourite beer isn't even on the radar. Is it world class? In this part of the world certainly it is.
