Anyone crack their bottle from the anniversary party? Tried it yesterday and it is RIDICULOUSLY complex and smooth. Surprised there aren't any reviews on the site yet. What are your thoughts?
I'm not... there were like 100 bottles, right? Man, I would love to come across this in a tasting some day.
I really wanted to pick a bottle of this up, but there was no way I could drive from HF to oxbow the day after FoFA.
We shared one on Sat. night amidst a bunch of sours. Very tasty, and wished I had one to call my own. There weren't any bottles of anything left that day early on, (no hope for the TBD, of course) so had to be content with a taste of the about-to-kick Stillwater collab, and a growlette of the new Grizacca (collab with Coppertail of FLA.)
Grizacca might be one of my new favorite's, the hop flavor is so intense but so sessionable. Oxbow is brewing some serious beers.
Opened my bottle the day after the event and it was outstanding. One of the best beers I've had this year and probably top ten all time.
Yes. Excellent. Really, really excellent....equal to the very best from the best breweries out there. I think a bunch of us would like to review it, but none of us has >20 reviews to add a new beer on the site.
Well shit, if that's the case... I opened mine Sunday. Thought it was a damn fine beer; similar to a Flanders Red but more complex
