Hello everyone! I am heading up to york Maine next week And was wondering where I can acquire oxbow besides driving to the brewery. And any bottle shops you know in the area I should check out. Thanks!

No bottles available in the York area from what I know but plenty on taps. Check out the York River Landing on Rt. 1. They have a great happy hour and usually have some Oxbow.

Oxbow is brewery only for bottles, but you will find them on tap relatively easily. The trip to the brewery is well worth it though if you have the time.

Other great stuff in York area though. SoMe Brewing. Plus I think Tributary should be opening soon. The 7 Eleven in Kittery is great. Tully's 20min north in Wells. When Pigs Fly also.

Pai Men Miyake in Portland has bottles of Etoile du Maine, Oxtoberfest and Liquid Swords [?] for on-site consumption. Sometimes it's worth the $20-25 they charge if I'm not heading towards Newcastle anytime soon. New Oxbow tasting/barrel room to open in Portland [75 Washington Ave] very soon, i'd like to think no more than a month or so. Can't wait.

Nothing going through distribution as of right now besides kegs. They do have a new warehouse in Portland(see beer advocate article most recently published) which will open the door for endless possibilities including more barrel aged beers, more bottling, and hopefully they will bottle cases of FPA for distro....at least that's what I would do. Give the people what they want!

If you're going to be in York, check out a store just off the i95 Exit called "Anthony's Food Shop" - It's right on Route 1, and don't be scared off by the fact it's a gas station... This place is great all-around, but has a real real solid craft beer selection. No Oxbow, but plenty of other awesome Maine offerings.

The Oxbow brewery is kind of a haul from York - But as mentioned above, it's worth the trip. Huge fan.

If you're in Portland at all, Local Sprouts has their Loretta on tap.

Yeah, mostly going to find Loretta and FPA in most places this time of year - But you never know, Might find one of their Freestyle beers still on tap as well.

Does anyone know which bottles Oxbow is currently selling? Thinking of making the trip this weekend.

That's strange, I don't see a FB post from this A.M. on their page...

Do they usually have multiple bottles available, or is it mostly growler fills? Suppose I can call in the AM too-- just thought I might ask here first.

Edit: Just realized that there's a FB page for Oxbow: https://www.facebook.com/oxbowbeer
and a page for the Oxbow Tasting Room: https://www.facebook.com/oxbowbeertastingroom

Sorry - I only watch the brewery's or Geoff & Tim's pages. Tim was at FOFA and says a new batch of Arboreal is coming soon.

Pai Men Miyake had Oxbow's "Freestyle 26" on tap as of Saturday Night - Real solid beer and currently my Portland go-to restaurant as well.

Here to echo sentiments posted earlier. Folks at Oxbow were hella cool when I went. Good tap selection there, plus I got 3 different bottled brews. Well worth steering off the beaten path.
