I have oxygenate my wort for the starter before adding the (wyeast 1214), usually this strain is slow to start but today it show obvious sign of activity in less then one hour.

Is that any reason wיy not to oxygenate the wort for a stater ?

It works very well, no problems with the correct amount of O2.

Without Dissolved Oxygen meters we are making guesses, but 1 min at 1 liter a minute flow in 5 gallons of wort is said to give 10 ppm. So reduce the time for a starter appropriately- no idea of the size you are using.

You don't need to oxygenate of you are using a stir plate.
