PA Grants $1.2M for Beer Development, Promotion

    seems like a waste of money? There is no shortage of breweries or enthusiasm for beer in PA. How about instead spending some of that money on schools, infrastructure, or just lowering taxes in general?

    especially this one:
    Beer Tourism Grant for the Craft Beer Trail of Greater Philadelphia: Grant will allow Visit Philadelphia to market and promote greater Philadelphia’s craft beer and breweries ...

    Agreed. As much as I appreciate the state gov valuing craft beer, I'd much rather see this money go to a more important cause like a struggling rural or inner-city school district.
