After a long time searching, yesterday I finally found a porter that's pretty close to ideal for me: Flyers Pacemaker Porter. I knew there had to be one out there.

And then, the hammer: I went into BevMo today to get more, and learned that they're not going to carry it any more, the beer on the shelf is the last they'll get.

Anyone know where this will be available outside Oak Harbor? Hopefully in the Bellevue/Kirkland area?

If not, any thoughts on locally available substitutes with a similar flavor profile?

Dude that's probably my favorite Porter in the northwest. So damn good!! I work at Toronado and we usually have it on tap but that's in Seattle. Not too sure how often it makes it out your way.

AFAIK, it's a regularly distributed, year-round brew. Just because one store is no longer carrying it, doesn't mean you won't be able to spot it. Maybe Malt & Vine? It's usually in grocery stores and mini-marts up here in Bham, so you shouldn't have much trouble getting it.

Georgetown makes a pretty good Porter. Don't think they bottle it though............
