Package returned a second time? Fo realsies?

    People living around the NY area: make sure to ship from elsewhere. As a European, I've only ever gotten grief from the NY depot. They actually re-packaged my stuff for a trade (to eliminate sloshing) and it was STILL sent back after sitting in the depot for 6 days in God knows which temperatures. That right there is some serious BS.

    Jeffo mentioned something about this being a problem as well. This does not excite me. Is it only outbound from US -----> destination or is it also when inbound to the US?

    I received a bottle from a friend in Switzerland and it went through NY also, but without any problems. Did they mention/mark on the package as to why it was sent back?

    I don't know a lick of Flemish, so you're probably right about that, too.

    Dennis this really sucks. I have a couple packages waiting to go out and am slightly concerned. And sadly, its not just people in NY that have to worry as anything shipping from the East Coast likely touches the NY port..

    I am the sap that is having these problems, I have never had a box returned, never, from any country, now twice with piss poor return info. All that I can say is be aware. Customs was not the problem, in both cases it was the air carrier that rejected the packages, the first time the sloshing noise, the second time, no reason given.
