Painted-label beer bottles...

    I'm looking for as many different 12oz beer bottles with painted labels as I can find locally for a light fixture I'm making. I'm in San Jose, but I'm willing to travel an hour or so to find them. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    thanks, I almost forgot! I got one from Stone and Coronado so far. I'm trying to avoid Corona and the many Corona wannabes.

    They used to paint their 12oz'ers, but no more! I went to BevMo with those in mind, but all the ones l saw are paper now. Their 22's are still painted. Bummer. I always thought it was a slightly "higher class" way to package beer.

    you should contact a bar and see if they can save some for you, it will make your art project move along much faster and they are going to recycled anyways! or contact a local brewery directly and see if you can stop by and grab a few misprints or old bottles that wont be used
