Whats up Albuquerque?! Its time for our second installment of unique craft beer "fests"! This one is called Palate Fatigue. It will be held at Sister Bar in Downtown Albuquerque on October 17th from 2pm til 6pm and as you can guess by the name we will have a lot of IPAs, DIPAs, etc... that will test your palate! We have a pretty awesome list of beers already, there will be 20 total at the event. It will be a first come first serve all you can taste event but will be more informative and small of course. Tickets are on sale at several places. You can get them from me at Kelly Liquors on Juan Tabo just North of Constitution. Jubilation Wine and Spirits, or Sister Bar downtown where the event will be held. You can also buy them online @ Holdmyticket.com. Price is $35 and any location or if you use holdmyticket there is an online fee. They will be $40 at the door. Check out Palate Fatigue on Facebook for a flyer and more info! Who's ready to whip there palates A$$?!
    Cheers,
    Kevin

A couple more changes to the line up witch aren't bad!
Santa Fe decided to bring Happy Camper witch they will first dry hop through the Randall into their Bright Tank at the brewery, they will also be bringing the Randall to the event to dry hop it again right in front of you!!!!
Sierra Nevada will NOT be joining this event as it was too short notice to get anything worthy.
Ska Modus Mandarina didn't make it so that will be changed as well.
The last 3 beer may change but here they are for now...
Ballast Point Ginger Big Eye IPA
    Alvinne Wild West Sour
Ok I lied, still trying to find the last beer, just want it to be a good one! That is if i counted right. Is anyone on here going???

So Scratch Alvinne Sour, I thought it was in a keg but its not.
Count in Upslope for their regular IPA they are bringing for fun in addition to the Lychee IPA that will be only available at the event!
Stone is also bringing another beer, Should I say what it is? Fine, its American Oaked Ruination!!!
I believe that covers all 20 spots but there is still no Sour!! Guess we will have to make it 21 beers!

Holy crap, too many changes! I'm just gonna stop posting, Okto is the only one interested or that can make it so it seems! You gonna be there Okto?!
Admiral couldn't find their last keg of Ginger Big Eye so scratch that, sorry I was looking forward to mixing that with Habanero Sculpin!
Sill on the hunt for a worthy sour, I won't give up!

Im not making it, but I enjoy the posts. Kinda nice to hear about some non-Texas goings on. Interesting to see what breweries/brews our neighbors are getting excited about.

Just a post update on how the fest went! We almost broke even, so not as good of an out turn as Tart at Heart which sold out in advance. However it was an amazing event, 21 beers (all 1/6 bbls), about 40 people, so we had about a half a keg each to ourselves!!!! Also we made some money for our charity, an awesome children's home in Creel, Mexico called Casa Hogar Aljaba. So thanks to everyone who came and we hope to see you at the 2nd annual Tart at Heart which will be phenomenal, I promise!
    Cheers!
