Since we are discussing about Imperial IPA - New England, I thought this deserves it's own style. Totally different to me than a Pale Ale - American. Fruitier, Addictive, MilkShake.

    Cheers!

True, and this argument may sway my opinion of session IPA's too. Though less of a Pale Ale - New England (which is so fluid in the brain BTW ;-) PANE just needs an "i" in the mix.

If we go this route, maybe a better half step would be to add a catch-all for the lower intensity IPA's, regardless of ABV, IBU and saturation of smell/taste.

Kinda agree about the session IPAs, but their still an IPA, lower abv for sure. Tricky.

    Cheers!

Yeah tricky. With all of the various IPA substyles already listed, where do we stop with splitting further based on ABV (imperial, session, triple etc)? Not sure.
