Yes, Total Wine, BUT you can find some great stuff in there since bottles just kind of sit around for a while. The Whole Foods selection is a bit weak, nothing there you can't find at TW. Local Trader Joe's has a small selection, but good stuff - Pugachev's, Almanac, Xocoveza Charred & Anejo, Modern Times... Jensen's Fine Foods in Palm Desert & Palm Springs also has some gems.
Palm desert totalwine was a nice little gem. Had almost like 10 cases of Firestone 19th when I was there on Saturday and sunday. Decent amount of Pugachev and there was velvet merkin in the walk in. Then the regular stuff you can find elsewhere.
not a bottle shop but Coachella Valley Brewing is worth checking out (maybe a 25 min drive from PS). they do some good IPAs and fun desert inspired stuff with dates and chiles. i was there a few weeks ago and they had Black Widow on tap and BA Black Widow bottles for sale
Any recommendations for Sports Bars or restaurants to watch the Sunday playoff games this weekend while in Palm Springs?
Thanks fellas! Coachella Brewing was outstanding; Black Widow, The Triple IPA, and more! Great little gem in the desert.
i've only been once but wasn't terribly impressed with what i had. worth checking out if you're nearby
I'll be in Palm Springs in October. I'm just doing some early research. I have Coachcella and La Qunita for breweries to check out and Bristol Farms, Jensens, Total Wine and Bevmo for bottle shops. Am I missing anything from this list? I don't really want to go much further than the Palms area. Being from NY hoping to find somethings that I would normally not find in my NY stores.
Purchased over $600 worth from Coachella and $300 from the Total Wine. Coachella Black Widow and Palms to Pines fantastic.
