The StB 12 vs Rochefort 10 vs West 12 thread in Beer Talk got me wondering - Pannepot is one of my favourite beers, and while it wasn't always available everywhere all of the time, between a few different places there was always a good chance of picking some up in NYC. But thinking about it, I don't think I've seen it for almost a year. Definitely six months anyway. Anyone know of anywhere that is stocking it and/or has it fairly regularly?
What a great beer- like it better than St B. and Roch 10, haven't had Westy 12. It looks like DeCicco's in Ardsley has it, but that's probably a slight bit of a hike for you. https://www.beermenus.com/places/493-decicco-s-food-market-ardsley
Yeah I definitely prefer it to all of them Thanks man! Not close, but perhaps I'll tell my wife it's time to visit her cousins in Tarrytown - two birds etc....
If you're going up there anyway, you could hit Peekskill, Captain Lawrence, whatever else... a flock of birds with one stone, as they've probably never said...
I was quite happy when I could capitalize on Pannepot, Pannepot Reserva, Pannepot Old Monk's Ale...I believe Proletariat use to carry some of those gems Copper Mine Pub in NJ had Pannepot as well; however, and sadly, that place is closed for good
if it's out of your way i may be wrong, but I know I saw some there relatively recently. don't want to make you go out of your way if i'm wrong, but i will say it's fairly easy to miss a single bottle in a place like that haha
