I just realized that I accidentally have some 2011, '12 and '13 in the cellar. Not sure how they all escaped me so far... So I guess I have a fun game to play. But when? What's a good time window to see some development? Recent-ish up to 3 years doesn't sound that exotic, but then I would probably prefer to err early rather than late. There are also (even if unspoken) questions about consistency in a small brewery that has changed its production over the years.

Everyone who answers is invited to the eventual tasting, possibly.

    Hi ManforallSaisons,

I just tasted a 2011 about 3 weeks ago & it was fabulous. If I read you correclty that you have "some" of each, I would drink all 3 now, then you can gauge how they will age w/2 years on it compared to fresh and make up your mind on how long you want to hold them.

My experiment is: I still some 2010's, a few 2008's, 2006's and a large format 2005 (some Reserva's , some regular) left in my stock. I will wait unit next year to taste the 2005, If it holds up very well, I'll age the 2006 for 12 years. If I do not like the 10 year old 2005 I will drink the 2006, If I do not like the 9 year old 2006 I will then drink the 2008, etc

    Cheers
    Mike

I've been having them fresh from time to time, only have a couple left of the '11 and '12. More notes if/when I accumulate 'em...
