Heard we may be seeing this resurrected from Foothills soon. Anybody else hear this? Had on tap a few years ago and loved it!
Two people have checked in a "Papa Jade" in Untappd this month, but both accounts look sketchy (no pics, no descriptions, tons of check-ins, based outside of NC, etc). With Foothills being as open as they are on social media, I find it hard to believe they would keep something like this secret for long. If there is in fact a new batch of Papa Jade, I imagine they'll make a big event of it. That said, if they were going to do a quiet release, the Dead and Berried release coming up pretty soon... If it is just rumors, maybe if enough folks ask nicely Foothills will make it again anyways.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am sitting at Foothills now and neither the bar manager nor one of the brewers know of this happening. But, I'm hopeful someday this will happen
I heard it was coming out sometime this month. Never had it, but have always heard people raving about it and always wondered if it were really that good or just more nostalgia and building it up in their own minds. Hopefully I'll find out before long!
