Pappy Van Winkle Aged Beers

    I’m looking to come up with as close to a full list of Pappy Van Winkle-Aged beers as I can. I am looking to do a tasting for an upcoming special occasion. We've got quite a few, but not everything below; We're mostly interested in bottles, instead of ones that were done as draft one-offs. Here’s the list we’ve got so far:

    Goose Island Rare Bourbon County Stout
    Goose Island King Henry
    Olde Rabbits Foot
    Three Floyds PvW Dark Lord (2011)
    Fifty Fifty 2008 Pappy Van Winkle Eclipse
    Foothills Bourbon Barrel People’s Porter
    Foothills BA Sexual Chocolate (certain years only?)
    Swamp Head 10-10-10 (Oak Aged)
    Stillwater - Folklore The Van Winkle Story
    Block 15 - Belmont Station 15th Anniversary
    Block 15 - Pappy's Dark
    Olde Hickory The Event Horizon (not sure about this one?)
    5 Seasons Westside Pappy 20 Mash Up
    5 Seasons Westside Seeing Dubbel - PVW Aged
    -And it looks like Bluegrass and a couple others have done Pappy one-offs.

    What are we missing? Are any of these wrong?

    not sure if this is right but i believe red brick's 15th anniversary was aged in pappy barrels

    Thanks for the responses. The Brooklyn Local 11 sounds like a good one that we missed.

    Does anyone know what years of BA Sexual Chocolate are PvW barrel aged?

    Also is The Event Horizon PvW barrel aged?

    EvHo 2010 was PVW and Old Wellar. I think 11 was Beam and Wellar.

    I believe most Foothills BA beers that I have had are PVW BA beers

    BA People's Porter
    BA Total Eclipse Stout
    BA Sexual Chocolate
    BA Seeing Double DIPA

    I think ORF is considered PVW aged because of BA Sexual Chocolate

    I thought the conclusion was that it wasnt strictly PVW, but a blend using some PVW barrels.

    commis (possibly accidentally) brings to light the great nothingness about this subject. when you figure out that the term "Pappy Van Winkle-Aged" - means beer was put in a emptied barrel of wheated whiskey & said whiskey that was emptied was ALLEGEDLY bottled as a Pappy Van Winkle iteration, eventually it might settle in that the only thing that really matters is which beers on the long list actually taste great. the rest is a fools argument.

    in plainer 'Engrish', take a single barrel of wheated bourbon intended to be Pappy - that barrel could very easily be & often is/was bottled as Old Weller instead of Van Winkle. that same barrel could be sold off & bottled as Old Fitzgerald, or as some Parker's Herritage iteration, or some Jefferson Reserve iteration (so on & so forth).

    quiet as it's kept, Diageo/United is sitting on a pile of "PVW" barrels (in the context you guys speak of "PVW") & they're slowly bleeding those barrels into their CROWN ROYAL production. maybe you should be compiling a list of "Crown Royal-Aged" beers too??

    Brooklyn Black Op's any year, Local 11 was only sold at a single resturant in NYC 11 Madison Park and i'm sure it's all gone.

    Was always under the impression that it's been Woodford Reserve from the get-go. Has this changed?

    -Firestone Walker Parabola (at least 2012, if not others, was mentioned in Pappy Barrels)
