I would think maybe some vintage BN or KBS. I doubt that too many people would trade 1st year bottling of Parabola for fresh BN or KBS. Good luck though.
i gave 3 BCBCS + 4 BCBS for the 2010 parabola the guy was very generous though.. but we ended up expanding the trade for other stuff which turned out to a awesome trade...I know firestone barrelworks had a few bottles for 70$ dont know if that helps though!
Either the value of 2010 Parabola has sky rocketed in the past year or that guy was a lot less generous than you think. I traded a batch 1 parabola June 14th last year for Supplication and BBPt5, one of each. Batch 1 Parabola was not that hard to get.
well there are a few bottles at firestone for 70$ if that helps you value your bottle, but I rather trade for it, also there were no forms really to know the value of what a '10 was going for at the time. And that was my offer to him for the '10 so I could get it done quick for a gift for someone else ,and he ended up being way more generous on his end after we expanded a bit for other beers. maybe you undersold yourself with that trade? as long as it worked for both parties.
I'd be inclined to say you were the generous one. I would have sent a Supp and BBPt5 to you in a second.
1x Supplication + 1x Bbpt5 is basically very close $4$ and rarity wise with 2014 Parabola. So I would say sending a 2010 for those 2 would be pretty generous. But it depends on if you were saving it for a vert, had a bunch, preferred something else, etc.
Swapped my last 1 for a CCB Cognac Church on a Hill a year ago. 001 was not easy to get at the time it was released (when compared to the distro footprint of 002, 003, etc).
add in the years it has on it and the level that the craft beer scene has grown, yeah, 001 Parabola should be gaining at least some value.
