Lets start a look out thread for this. Some shops still have Sucaba on their shelves, so hope we get Parabola too
My prediction: Limit 1 at TW for the next 3 months. $14.99 Yokes: Two cases sitting on the floor with no price tag.
Yep, I'd imagine so. Something else I've noticed. Just because the TW on the North Side has a bottle limit doesn't mean that the one in the Valley does. When Sucaba hit, I saw it up north first and it was 1 per customer. So I got one. Had to go to the Valley later than week and thought I'd stop in and get another 1 for a trade partner. Walked out with 3 for multiple trade partners
Doesn't surprise me about the inconsistency. They also don't seem to base their limits on anything rational. No limit on Ivan the Terrible, but limits on Abyss. No limit on KDS, but limits on B-Bomb. If you want any more Sucaba, there's still some at the north store. Nu Homebrew has some too.
This is what I miss about Spokane. Local bottle shop got 6 cases of Parabola yesterday morning, had 2 cases left by the time I got ther at 5. It'll be gone today.
IT can be like that at times, and then at other times stuff can disappear rapidly. Not too long ago (maybe mid 2013) I went into a homebrew store and saw a number of Dissidents still sitting on the shelf. I didn't have much cash on me, and was in buying other things anyway. I thought "well, if it's still here now, it'll still be here in a couple of days!" There were at least 6 bottles left, maybe 8. I came back 2 days later, and they'd all gone. Someone came in and bought the lot. Also, I had a hard time getting any Tart of Darkness last year, and yet I could get you Sucaba pretty readily right about now, and even some FW17 too
Nice, I have one in my cellar anyway, but wouldn't say no to some more. Will try grab one when I'm up there again. Is it out on their shelves, or in the chillers?
It's two rows down actually. I'm waiting until next year to snatch up the 2010 Krieks. Something about the florescent lighting and 72 degree temperature in that store develops beers incredibly over the course of 5 years.
Not been up to JB's, but Huckleberry's had a bottle the other day. ALso Enoteca over in Post Falls had some. So it is around. However, I've seen it priced $16.99 at one store and then $14.59 at another
Good to know. TW in the Valley didn't have any on display yesterday. Still a ton of Sucaba on their shelves though!
