Parabola in Chicago?

You're going to have a hard time finding it in the city, check beermenus.

 

Get on beermenus, there are two places listed as having it. Also plan on this thread getting bombed, there's another one just like it already, the bros will delete this soon.

 

It has come and gone at several stores already, hope you can find it.

 

Most small stores only get a case of 6 bombers allocated to them. So it's pretty scarce.

 

I concur. I stopped at a binnys and they aren't getting anywhere near what the got last year. The busiest Binny's in the burbs, according to the manager I spoke to today is getting a whopping 18 bottles of parabola total. In the other hand, they are getting 150% more KBS. The michigan people are gonna be pissed at the FIBs.

 

In the NW burbs, mchenry binny's and cardinal crystal lake had it yesterday. If you 're still in town, call around you might find a bottle. Also Woodstock Armanetti's shows having it on beermenus.

HA! Parabola lasted 13 minutes at Downers Grove, IL Binny's. And I did not get one...

- I get the Tweet from Binny's
- With no traffic I'm less than 10 minutes from there.
- It takes me 5 minutes to leave my office, get down to the garage and get out on the road.
- At that rate it was already too late...

 

Same for me, I work at 22nd and Main in Lombard, got the tweet was their within 10 minutes and I saw the last bottle handed out. Im getting slow in my old age. Oh well.

 

I feel your pain. I'm on 22nd between Midwest and Meyers.

I did get a couple of 12 oz bottles of Curmudgeon there (DG Binny's) after work two nights ago - along with a Revolution Straight Jacket - after the tweet had been out for a couple of hours. Apparently the demand for that fine beer is not nearly as manic.

Present company excluded this high demand/limited availability on beer is driving me nuts...

 

Naperville Binnys is releasing it at 9am on Saturday.

If you are willing to make the drive out to Orland Park, the Berkot's had about a dozen Straight Jackets available. No idea if they will get parabola or not. Probably not.

 

Berkot's OP is in my home backyard (sort of)....
