Picked one up at Binny's Lakeview @ 2pm, ask one of the employees they love helping the tickers.

 

I had a Very Mad Cow last year that was likely infected. It was early in my barrel aged drinking time so I just chalked it up as something I didn't much care for. But I've had every Revolution Deep Woods Series last year except for the Mean Gene and Bean Gene, and they were all fantastic. Some of my favorite barrel aged beers.

 

The difference being that Goose gave me back money, no questions asked and Rev told us all to go screw ourselves.

If you didn't know about the Revolution issues going back at least a year then search BA or other sites.
I got a $45 Rev BrewPub gift card in January 2016 for my terrible 2014 bottles of Bean Gene and Mean Gene after e-mailing pictures of the gushers that I had opened (in the sink, thankfully). They smelled sour and tasted terrible.
All Gravedigger Billy, Deth's Tar, and Straight Jacket were, and continue to be, outstanding.

I don't remember where I saw it but they are bottling Cafe Deth this year.

 

It's listed on Revolutions website. Their calendar has it as a December/January release next year.

Not expecting to get a bottle for home, but what about some in the bar? Anybody know of any tappings?

 

Really, they did basically what Odd Side did then, I did not know this. I was told that VeryMad Cow was being recalled from a guy at my local bottle shop. I told him I had one and he said to bring it back and I could swap out for another Rev bottle and the only Gene I ever liked was E. Norma and they never bottled it as far as I know.

Kind of crappy though, you would think they could have at least offered to buy you a drink the next time you came in to the brewery.

Oh no kidding? I get such varying info. My main store yesterday said check back today. The Binny's by my work in Oakbrook said they only get shipments on Thursdays? Ugh.

 

Binny's in Plainfield said they're getting their shipment in sometime next week.

 

Willowbrook said they got their's last Tuesday. Anybody get one there? I find it hard to believe they got it before the city stores.

 

Whole Foods on Kingsbury had a couple left in a box next to their non refrigerated beer racks. This was about 15 minutes ago

 

Find this hard to believe as I talk to the beer manager quite a bit and he said they didnt get it in yesterday but got waldos.

 

Yesterday was Thursday, not Tuesday. I too find this hard to believe which is why I asked if anybody got one there. That apparently would make them the first store in the area to receive Parabola. I don't buy it, so is it dis-information/an annoyed employee or just someone talking out of their ass?
