Parabola in DC

Not yet, but I'm told it could be as early as this week or next.

 

I've seen it on tap at Pizzeria Paradiso in Old Town. It's not DC, but it's close.

 

Any word on it in Maryland?

 

Total Wine in VA seems to have little info. At one store, I was told that their computer system says June. At another store, the beer manager told me it could happen at any time (though he won't know until the delivery truck shows up).

 

Yea, I had this there last weekend for their Arbor Day celebration... first time tasting it and I loved it.

 

And it was a previous vintage

 

Any updates on this? I am assuming NoVa will be getting it next week...

 

I would not assume that. Historically Parabola has hit NoVA during the first week of June. That could change but it is unlikely.

 

Supposedly just got the last bottle from Schneiders on the hill. Guy asked if I wanted it after buying...a Sucuba just chilling on the shelf...and Curieux, and Enjoy By (more there), and Double Trouble (more there)...nice haul for picking up a gift for someone.

 

Maybe he's talking about Sucaba?

 

2013 Vintage? Unless they are calling the new release 2014. Beer guy said DC only got 35 cases.

 

Its here. And very limited. 5 sixtels and 35 cases for the entire city.

 

It is here -- I picked up a bottle at Magruders around noon; they said they got two cases in.

 

Magruders is up there! Any sightings closer into the city, maybe Rodmans?

 

I just saw that it was being offered on Let'sPour.com (1 to a customer though) for those of you/us who probably wont be able to track it down in an actual beer store in the NoVA/DC/MD area, becuase of limited availability.

Actually, I just saw that it's now sold out on Let'sPour.com. That didn't last long....

 

Rodman's is only like a mile south of Magruder's lol.

 

Hasn't hit TW Sterling or Chantilly yet. Truck should hit them next Tues or Wed.
