Even worse is that most of the time the Fantome just sits on the shelves =)

Yeah, I've seen fantome a lot of places over the last few months; Mile High has cases of it sitting out. It's pretty pricey, and given that it sounds like you're playing the lottery any time you buy it, I really have no desire to roll the dice on a bottle. Why blow 17 bucks on something that could have the consistency of motor oil when you could spend 15 on Parabola? I've had parabola before, and I'm pretty confident that F-W has excellent QC, so I don't ever see myself getting any fantome unless I find a bottle for 9 bucks, or something like that.

Just bought 2 bottles for $14 each. I'm up to 1/2 case. Wish i had just bought a case before Total Bev put their limit on.

That would have been too easy! I've enjoyed my daily walk to Arognaut at lunch to buy a bottle and then a bottle or two on my way home. I actually stopped in at Argonaut again tonight after seeing Avengers. I'm up to 10 bottles and hope to get more. This is easily my favorite BA stout so I gotta load up.

Parker payless got in one case yesterday and has a one bottle per limit. Not sure how much will be left today, that place sells out on these types of releases within a day or two.

Bottle limits are great, doesn't take a few customers with a disposable income and money to throw down to easily pick up a case + of the stuff. It also makes the customers that really love the beer and want the beer work a little harder. I like it because I can pick up a bottle or two every week or so and not have to throw down one lump sum at a time. Maybe a 2 bottle limit with a beer like this?

Saw bunch at Total Bev westminster but didn't buy any. Also, Harvest Wine and Spirits in Boulder had a bottle of 15 for $23

Not sure what you mean by this. Sucaba was available around the start of the year and is still on shelves in a couple of places.

Well, I am down in the Springs so I guess we just don't love our BA Barleywines as much as Denver-ites. But seriously, the guy at Weber st. said they still had a case in the back.
