I'm just hoping it hits MA at some point so I can have a friend pick some up.

 

I heard a rumor that the distributor is only expecting 10 cases for the whole of MD and every store is only getting 2 or 3 bottles

 

From the PA thread, apparently this is what has happened in SEPA. The distributor only got a few cases and was expecting many times more - said distributor is sitting on the paltry few cases so as not to both underdeliver to accounts as well as shut out many. Bad deal - I don't understand FW here.

 

I heard around 6 per account, but either way it sucks. Let's hope the rumors are wrong.

I walked into Magruders last year and grabbed 5 bottles of Parabola off the shelf. Thankfully, I have 2 bottles left. Only found 1 bottle of the 2012 at Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors this last weekend, and magruders had none.

 

6 or 2 or 3 sucks either way. I get off work late during the week and the store I go to is first come first serve, with that few bottles around I doubt the beer guy will hold one for me.

 

If I come across any I'll let you know.

 

Just scored one more bottle at Connecticut Wine in DC. Al hooked me up. They also still have plenty of Sucaba for $16.99.

 

Just a bad buzz for FW regarding us Easties. Not sure why they can't share the love as the "year rounds" sell like hot-cakes and they have a prominent chain in VA which uses them as their house beer.

how so? i went in for the first time in forever, and asked if he had anything limited release or new in. He said he had a bottle of Parabola left if i wanted it, which I of course did. Bought that and the Sucaba and a Juliet.

 

did you go in monday? I was in there saturday and asked if he had any left and he said he sold the last one friday morning

Think was $16.99 actually. A little pricey but since I was there and really like it, I figured what the hell.
