But it did not happen. So in this case somebody could've mistakenly halved the price, thinking it needs to be divided by 12, like last year. I've seen that happen. I'm not saying a mistake could not have happened there, but it was a flagrant one.

Randomly stumbled upon a bottle at Coolidge Corner Wine & Spirits. There was one more as of this afternoon...

 

Paid $20 flat for a bottle at Wakefield Liquors a few weeks ago. They didn't put them on the shelves as far as I know. I doubt that they held on them long enough to even stock them on the shelves. I'd imagine they got about a case, at the very most.

Considering it seems that Long Island will not see a single bottle at this rate, I don't mind paying the extra 3-4$ for such a great beer.

 

Had it on tap this afternoon at new world tavern in Plymouth .....$10 for 10 oz pour ...so good

 

Not sure if this will shed any light on anything but one of my friends at another store said that on their invoice it came in as a 12 bottle case for last year's price. He called the distributor and got the price adjusted. Just purely theorizing but there is a chance this happened at Blanchard's Allston and they didn't try for a price adjustment.

 

As of yesterday afternoon, there was still at least 1 bottle at Needham Wine and Spirits for $17.
