I wish NJ got DBA that beer is so good

 

Where did you hear this? It isn't even in Konrad's warehouse yet.

 

According to the Firestone Walker Northeastern beer distro manager's twitter, Parabola arrived in NJ less than a week ago and is set to ship to stores this week. But I haven't seen or heard anything as of yet.

Came out last week in Burlington county.

 

Apparently it was just JC Delran. None of the other guys got it yet. Weird.

 

I checked a few places in Somerset County (By work) and in Morris/Passaic County by home and nothing. I did score 2 bottles of Sucuba at Fairway in Woodland Park. There was 2 more left on the shelf.

 

No record of Konrad receiving theirs yet.

 

I was told that it probably depends on the distributor. Stores in North Jersey that use Hunterdon for distro got theirs on Tuesday. Stores in Central Jersey who have Nash for distro are apparently not getting any until July. I talked to Joe Canal's in Woodbridge and Wine Library in Springfield and they both said July.

 

Doesn't Joe Canal's in Woodbridge/Iselin use Hunterdon though?

 

For some reason, not for this limited release beer. At least that is one of their staff told me today.

 

Hunterdon does not distribute fireatone walker at all, its hughgrade north and south, nash and i forget the other ones for south jersey

 

I honestly don't know how it works in NJ, but I did think that distributors had breweries, and if a store wanted a brewery's products, they had to deal with the distributor who repped them. no?
