Where is it? I've called a couple spots but no luck... Anyone seen it yet?

I've contacted many North County bottle shops, and most aren't getting their allotted case until the week of 5/14. Good luck!

But that's at least $4 more than anybody should be spending on a bottle of Parabola. And you have to deal with Freddie. No, thank you.

You don't want to pay $6.99 for PtE, or $30 for BR Hammerhead? ???? Perhaps the new low price of $15.99 for Supplication?

He used to be about $1 more than everywhere else. Now he averages $2 more if the beer is under $10. 4$ more if the beer is $10 - $20. $8 more $20 - $30. The forumla continues.

The Brewery is selling it for 15.99 with a 4 bottle limit. So he is only over charging 3 bucks.

And for some reason I still don't understand, FW beers are MORE expensive at the brewery than they are at local, San Diego bottle shops. Anniversary XV, for example, was $24.99 at the brewery, and I saw it at multiple locations in San Diego at price points between $18.99-$22.99.

Yeah, he's "only" charging 19% over the brewery price...funny how context makes a difference.

Russian River is the same way. They just post their suggested retail price. After that anybody can move it up or down. The bottle shops might lower the price of the super popular, hard to get beers in hopes that you will go in there all the time for the rest of your beer buying days? I am not too sure to be honest with you.

With a few exceptions (Alpine comes to mind), you can routinely get beer at lower prices from retailers than the breweries themselves. My understanding is that this is because breweries don't want to undercut their retailers.

I think it goes beyond that Since CA is a two tier distribution state I don't think they can legally undercut their suggested retail price.

I looked for it all over North County today (BevMo Escondido and Oceanside, Holiday Wine Cellar, Texas Wine and Spirits, Whole Foods Encinitas) and couldn't find it. I ended up going to Orange County to find it. I was told by every store other than BevMo Escondido that they will be getting it on Wednesday the 16th.
