not just you. if you take price and availability into account, i think parabola is the easy winner of "best barrel aged stout." it's flawless.

 

Truth be told, I have Parabola at 1A with BCBS being 1. You know I'm a BCBS *****! :-)

BTW, Irvine Yard House is selling bottles for $24.

For those that can wait....its to be delivered to most retail stores Friday/Sat. in SoCal.

It's great this year, a bit hot, tasted some woodiness, caramel, dark chocolate. From bottle
On tap it had slight hoppy or bitterness to it too.
My favorite beer! PERIOD!!!!

I took it to go. It seems like they had some confusion on serving it there or letting me take it to go.

I was just at a beer event and a rep from Firestone was there. They said it will land in Chicago definitely in May but close to the end of the month.

 

Anyone know if they still have bottles at the tap room in Buellton? I will be there this weekend for the brewfest.
