Parabola

My buddy in Austin is still looking for some of this - anybody know if it's still around?

 

Still some places supposed to be getting it during the week - not every place got it yet

 

Austin:

Rosedale Market has 11 bottles as of 8:30 am today.
No shipment at the flag store yet, and they won't receive today either. Call tomorrow or Friday.

 

Was at Hopfields yesterday and had the parabola/sucaba tastingl. Pretty cool to have all 3 sitting in front of me. The FW rep and I spent a few minutes talking. He said that 60 cases and 2 barrels (of parabola) were delivered to Austin. I could have been mistaken on that, but I believe that's what he said. Hopfields said they got 2 1/6 barrels and will hold one for their anniversary party or some other special event.

I managed to pick up three... Might get a fourth today.

Rosedale said they are out.

 

Just so everyone can get a glimpse.

Flights were Parabola '12 (bottle), Parabola '13 (tapped), and Sucaba '13 (tapped).
The parabola 12 was extremely good.

 

If any Austinites are interested, I can offer a bottle of Cantillon St. Lamvinus (2012) in exchange for 2x Parabola or 1x Parabola + 3x KBS, let me know and we can meet up tomorrow evening at Saucer. Feel free to stick around for a beer on my plate party tab as well. Cheers!

 

Thanks, finally managed to pick up a bottle about 30 minutes ago. At that time, they said they had one left but looks like they're out now.

 

The guy who rang me up said if they blew through this case that their salesman said he might be able to get them another case next week...who knows. Bee Cave, TX is a magical place....

 

Apparently they had no bottle limit... buddy of mine picked 2 bottles like a half hour ago. He said there's three left.

 

Yup. Just went out there a few weeks ago and picked up RU-55, Funk, and both Das, all still on the shelves there. Love me some Bee Cave. Which store had the Parabola?

 

A liquor store not named Specs...

 

I might have to make a trip there at soooome point. Man. In other news:



Two of those are for fellow BAs, and I have one more guaranteed to me--if I show up on time--tomorrow morning.
