Paradox, up in Woodland Park, is releasing one of their beers Friday. Local spots in C Springs, Monument and Woodland Park are getting some. Barrel aged and made by former brewers at Bierwerks. https://www.facebook.com/#!/ParadoxBeerCompany
pretty reasonable price tag too - just picked up the belgo-american IPA aged in wine barrels at Cork n Bottle in Monument for $11 (750ml flip top). Curious how this tastes - anyone?
FYI for Denverites, I saw the Paradox offerings today at Davidson's and Lukas. They look and sounds damn interesting.
IMO - they're worth trying. Most of the barrels are wine, not bourbon (best as I can tell) so the influences are not over the top booze-y but definitely noticeable (at least on the one I've tried) and the base beers are solid.
