Because they don't have enough space to stash people's bottles. Once the new place opens the BC stuff starts.

The BC reservation system doesn't take effect until the new facility opens. Hopefully that will be next month.

Also extra money for them. Cash sale, guaranteed sellout, and no discount for members necessary. Money also saved by not hiring people who can do REAL line security.

In the meantime, I'm at least enjoying the 30% off. Got three 32 oz growler fills (The Light that Spills, Extra Extra Knuckle, and Grows Fonder) for $27.

The Club will not help in any way. People will have their bottles reserved and then simply show up as they do now to basically double their allocation. Bring a mule and you triple up. So, it will simply make things worse not better unless production ramps up. I don't see this getting better, only worse to be honest.

What do you expect from a bunch of middle aged boobs who probably took the job for free beer + minimum wage?

Count me as one club member that will NOT be getting in line to get a second allocation. The bottle reservation system was a major selling point for me. Today was likely my last day in line at TH until 2018.

Good going Arky, but I bet you will be in the minority on this one. When the club details were released, a lot of people remarked that they would still be getting in line for more.

So you are saying that the person who is first in line is more deserving lf beer than someone who shows up an hour or so after them? What if that person who shows up later actually has responsibilities, like a job or children to take care of? Should someone who's main priorities in life are beer and beer alone be awarded for that over someone who just wants a beer to enjoy after a long day of dealing with real priorities in life?

You shouldn't have to show up at 5am to any beer release.

This is EXACTLY how I see things. People are looking for reasons for shutout to make them feel better, but I cannot believe that there were that many people cutting without a single person making a scene. People do give a shit and they will make a scene so this whole suspicion of 40-50 people cutting in line is ridiculous.

I got shutout at Emptiness is Eternal in the exact manner most people did today. I vowed to never get in line again. I didn't blame line cutters because I didn't see any nor could I tell that peope who stepped back in line weren't there before.

What I do agree with is ticketing. That would solve both any potential line cutters and people having to wait for 2 hours after opening only to find out they get shut out. I also agree with not getting in line again until they implement such a system. I stopped. If you continue going, after seeing the same story every so often, it's on you.

There is a good chance that the Paraguesia bottles will not even fall into the Believers club. Remember they are not Tired Hands beers.

If it's first come first serve yes they do. If someone has responsibilities, it is what it is and they know that things just weren't in their favor to get bottles. If I decided to go today I would have gotten shutout and it would have sucked but I would have shrugged and grabbed a beer and grabbed growlers to go.

Anyone complaining doesn't hipster hard enough. "Parageusia" means "bad taste in the mouth." They are, on purpose, making these releases horrible... for the irony. Don't you get it, man?

I can't speak for the entire line, but from where we were at, there was a section about 30 people in front of us where 5-6 guys got in line at about 11:15-11:30. I'm not certain what someone is supposed to do? Run out of line and go accost 5-6 people that you don't know? Sorry, I'm past that point in my life - not worth it.

The entire experience just left a sour taste in my mouth, it could have been managed much, much better.

Leaving a sour taste in my mouth was the idea but instead my feet were wet and I was pissed off
