Parageusia4 will be released this upcoming Sunday, May 17th. Designed by the talented Future Rustic brewer Christian Zellersfield and personally brewed by Jean Broillet IV at Tired Hands Brewing Company. The following is what Christian has to say about this beer:
"This is a Cabernet Franc barrel-fermented Ale that I brewed with wheat malt at Tired Hands Brewing Company. At this point, Parageusia4 is roughly twelve months old. The yeast used to ferment this beer is a melange of yeast cultured by Tired Hands Brewing Company as well as yeast and bacteria resident to Ardmore, Pennsylvania. I believe that people of this time may refer to my Ale as a "Saison" or perhaps a "Wild Ale". Archaic stylistic descriptions aside, this is an Ale that I find to be very engaging and enjoyable; Bone dry with a bright under-ripe watermelon-like acidity, lush barrel character, and a lively citrusy acidity. Also, it is suitable for indefinite aging into the future.
It was very important for me to design a series of beers available for the current market that accurately represented the level of sophistication and Future Rusticity that people of my time have come to expect from Parageusia. It is my hope and sincere desire that, through these collaborations with Tired Hands, we will build a more evolved level of beer appreciation in this time (the present) to prepare the people of Earth for the intensity of organoleptic refinement of my time (the future).
"Only the absolute oscillation of the central being propels the entity into oblivion, furthermore disbanding the axis." - Christian Zellersfield $18 per 500ml bottle. One 500ml bottle per person. There are 400 bottles available to the public. At this point, all Believer's Club members have received emails detailing the reservation process.

PLEASE NOTE! This release will be taking place at our new facility, The Fermentaria, beginning at noon. All sales will be conducted through our large garage door located on Cricket Terrace. Check out http://www.tiredhands.com/fermentaria for additional information on The Fermentaria.

400 bottles, high price, 12pm open, and a douchey description? My guess is you'll have to be in line by 5:45am to get this one.

What a crappy time machine. It can only transport the same beer back every time?

Time travel is very tricky, I'd say they can only time travel the same amount of time every time

It's very important for me to remind you that IT'S JUST BEER. This description has an air of pomposity and self-importance that makes me want to punch someone.

I for one truly appreciate this Christian guy traveling back in time for us. Not only is he preparing our palates for future beer flavors, but also our wallets for future beer pricing.

Believers club is the way to go on TH releases now-a-days. You have to be cray to go to a $18 1/per to line up at 8 am. Looks like I'm done scoring TH bottles for a while....

Just wait for Para 5 , or Para 6, or Para 7. All part of the plan for every person on the planet to have at least one bottle. Wait in line for 1 bottle and have to listen to future babble, I'll pass

This is an ongoing topic of conversation at a tasting we do where people are collecting all the Para bottles to open at once. But when do you ever open them?

I actually recently traded my Para set because I thought the same thing. It's sort of like the Bruery anniversary beer set I'm for some reason collecting. When the hell do I open them? I've recently answered "now" and just need to figure out how many god damn people I need for something like that. Yikes.

This 1 bottle limit is such a bad idea that is going to screw the honest people and reward the sneaky ones.
As I posted in another thread relating to this. I think the majority of people in the Believers Club were the people who made up the bulk of the lines at previous releases. With 400 bottles being released and a '1 per person' limit, I'd bet anything a fair amount of people will be able to jump back in line to grab a 2nd bottle. Although Jene has stated Believers Club members reserving a bottle will not be allowed to purchase another bottle during the public on sale Sunday, theres no way they will be able to adequately enforce that, let alone the people who jump back in line to grab a second bottle. They would rather look the other way and sell all 400 bottles then bust their butts to enforce the 1 bottle per person limit and end up with extra stock they'll have to unload after the fact

Given the 1 bottle limit and separate Believers Club's allotment, do people really think over 400 people are going to be in line come noon on Sunday?
