I'll be living in Paris this summer for work and I'm wondering if anyone has any good recommendations on where to buy beer, either bars or stores. This will be my forth time in the city but the first time I've been there for more than a week. Usually I just shift to wine and cocktails at Harry's, but I simply can't do that for 3 months. Outside of taking a train to Brussels (which will happen a few times), any advice? I've heard rumors of a few good beer bars so I'm staying hopeful. I'll mostly be on the left bank around the 15th arrondissement, but I don't mind a hike for a good beer or four.
Hi, A quick answer. Everything you need tout know is here : http://happygohoppy.fr/carteparis/ Sorry it's in french. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. My tips : Shops : La Cave à Bulles, A la bière comme a la bière, Bierocrartie Bars : La Fine Mousse, Supercoin, L'Express de Lyon
I made a visit to Cave Bulles and sent them BA's love. Great store! They're having some cool events over the next few days for Paris Beer Week, too, that I'll be going back for. They've got a blind taste test of Belgian quads and a few other tastings. Anyone else on the Continent should look into stopping by Paris this week!
Indeed. If you need an overview of most of the events taking place during the Paris Beer Week (in french ...), click here Saturday the 31st is a special day with 30 brewerys available. So join us for a great party.
I just visited Paris and brewberry in the Latin quarter was a really nice tucked away beer hang out. They are a beer bar and bottle shop that will chill any of they bottle on site for you to drink.
