Can't wait!

 

This is without a doubt one of the best DIPAs I've had. I've had Heady, and while this is not quite that good, it is a stellar beer. Sad I'll be leaving Louisiana before the release of batch 2

 

Where you headed? If it is Vermont, we should definitely trade.

 

Haha, I'll be in Rhode Island, but Vermont isn't far . I think I've got a trade partner already, but definitely always open to offers!

 

Love this beer, but that tap handle looks like a gorilla and one of the aliens from Mars Attacks had a love child.

Looks like I'll be loading up on my way to Houston for the LSU-Wisconsin game.

 

Yeah, really hoping they do growler fills again. Also curious if they will have some sort of purchase limit at the brewery. I don't want to be greedy but I would like to get at least 2 or 3 4-packs

 

I don't think they do bottle limits at the brewey but they will probably have a limited amount to sell there. I don't remember
them doing growler fills either of ghost last batch. The Parish growlers are screw tops, they really need to get some swing tops up in there.

 

They definitely did growler fills cause I hit that up twice last batch lol. In fact, the bartender messed with me: I walked up and asked for a growler fill and she said "Sorry, we just ran out." I must have had quite the look of disappointment cause she immediately started laughing and said "I'm sorry, I was just kidding" and took my growler.

 

Nevermind, I was thinking of Project X they had on tap for a little while. They didn't fill any with that

 

Patiently waiting for an announcement on the release of this.

 

If it is released on Thursday, I'd like to meet up with a few of you south LA BA's. I plan on driving down from shreveport for this one!

 

Is there a set date aka this Thursday? (8/28) I wish it would be a Saturday release for those of us working a bunch right now.

 

I don't know much of anything but I know for sure it hasn't been bottled yet. I heard bottling and packaging wednesday this week. Maybe brewery release this weekend maybe but I hear with Labor Day and normal beer deliveries not to expect it on shelves anywhere until the first week of September. But nothing confirmed, thats just what Ive heard through the grapevine.

 

If it is bottled on Wednesday, I see no reason why it shouldn't be on sale at the taproom on Thursday. I hope it is ready to go on Thursday since I have a built in excuse to be in the area that day.
