Yep, it's another "I'm visiting.." thread. I will be in Parramatta, NSW for 16 days, and am looking for suggestions on favorite bars, shops, and otherwise for craft beer. All suggestions appreciated, even if that means pointing me to similar threads or links. I do have access to a car, despite being freaked out at driving on the "other side" of the road. So, suggestions within say 30 minutes, are also welcome. Thanks to all the BAs in advance.
Riverside is in Parramatta. Good thing about Paramatta is it is 25 mins from central station and circular quay. Loads round the city, royal Albert, our pub Harts Pub near the quay, Frankies, mojo record bar, spooning goats ... Can also get to a few breweries on the train line, young Henry's is close to Newtown station and ours is not far from mascot (rocks brewing). But, do yourself a favour and book in a tour with Daves brewery tour. Dave is an awesome bloke and will take you to some great places.
Take public transport. Best way to go. Welcome hotel is very good. Drive up to Mona vale and hit up modus operandi. Easier than getting to the city and dealing with parking. Flat rock brew cafe is OK worth hitting.
